The purpose of this South Carolina Arts Commission (SCAC) grant is to support school districts committed to implementing standards-based arts curricula and to making the arts an integral part of the basic curriculum and daily classroom instruction.
7 school districts are currently receiving the District Arts Support Grant.
Applications will be available in the Spring of 2025.

Most S.C. school districts with a three-year arts education strategic plan and a part- or full-time arts coordinator
The purpose of this South Carolina Arts Commission (SCAC) grant is to support school districts in establishing or expanding the role of the district arts coordinator to ensure the development and/or implementation of a rigorous arts learning strategic plan.
9 District Arts Coordinator positions are currently being supported by this grant.

The One Stop Workshop is a free, conference app for SC teachers. A collaborative effort with Palmetto State Arts Education (PSAE), this virtual platform offers a “one-stop” source for professional learning on arts in education, offering content for both educators interested in arts integration as well as discipline-specific arts specialists.
The Joint Arts Administrators Network is a professional learning opportunity for District Arts Coordinators and Administrators of schools utilizing an arts-focused curriculum. It is a joint project of Palmetto State Arts Education with its partners, the ABC Institute, and the South Carolina Department of Education.
